Hi there,
Just out of curiosty. Is it possible to use vStoage API mulitpathing (that is EMC PowerPath) in ESXi 4?
My understanding is that it is supported in ESX 4 but not sure now if it is supported in ESXi and the installable version.

Theres a whitepaper from Mike Lavericks RTFM site which shows its supported on ESX4i.
http://www.rtfm-ed.co.uk/docs/vmwdocs/whitepaper-emc-powerpath.pdf
Otherwise login to EMC powerlink http://powerlink.emc.com and look under powerpath, at the planning guide it will also say in there.
If you havent got a powerlink login you can sign up for free.
Hope this helps

In order for you to use PowerPath VE with an ESX/ESXi 4.0 host the host must have a Enterprise Plus license.
