WS7 and W7 non enhanced 3d

Does anyone know how to get W7 to work with WS7 in non enhanced 3d mode, whenever i remove/ untick this and restart i get nothing but a black screen.

svga.vramSize is set to 8mb when 3D is disabled and that really limits the resolutions that you can set in the guest. Try bumping it to 64/128MB and most resolutions should work. The corresponding line to add to your vmx would be "svga.vramSize=67108864" for 64MB.

During the beta program there were posted instructions for installing an alternate video driver. Maybe one of the other gurus could comment.
