guest like host with network card

Hi,

I try to explain well that I need. I'm trying to configure a vpn where I connect. In my host I could do it, but if I configure in the guest I cannot connect. I think that is about the ports, so if I do a scan of open ports in my host it gives the port 10000 open and if I do the same scan in the guest it says me closed. I have configure the vmware network card like NAT. There is some way to can do that the vpn work in my guest?

Can you set the guest to use "Bridged" mode for the virtual adapter? That's fixed a great many things for me.

If I put the conection in bridge mode I don't have internet connection therefore I can conect with the VPN.

Any help please?
