vLockstep Technology

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me what exactly is a vLockstep technology. What exactly it does.

When does this happen, why does it happen? Where and how is it used in Vmware?

Thanks,

J

It's a technology introduced to implement the new VMware FT feature.

It can "sync" two process on two different hardware, and it used to "sync" the CPU/Mem status of two VM on two different ESX.
