If you really wanted to use it for the install, you would have to extract the driver from the VMware Tools ISO and add it to a floppy image.

LSI Logic SAS is intended for use with Windows 2008 only for clustering.

Use LSI logic parallel - works perfectly.

And again with "LSI logic parallel" scsi selection the error is same...

Please help..

I'm trying to install win 2003R2 x64 edition & getting error that I need to dive a driver.

If I'll select LSI Logic SAS then what need to be done, I downloaded win 2003 R2 x64 LSI logic SAS driver also, bu the problem is how can I copy this driver file into a flp file whixh I've just created in datastode of host server.

Thanks,

Just curious, where did you meet statement that LSI Parallel is not recommended?

Buslogic, yes, is not recommended but LSI Parallel is recommended to use instead Buslogic.

Someone could say me what is the difference between choosing one or another versionof the SCSI controller for the virtual disk, where I can find the information where it comes from the definition of each of the SCSI Controller?

Since this is a three year old already solved thread I think it would be better to start a new discussion.
