Hello. I'm experimenting with the ESXi server software. I've loaded it onto two identical brand new HP DL360s, and it installed without any difficulty. I then attempted to transfer an ISO to the server using the datastore browser in VMWare Client. However, all transfer attempts fail with an "I/O Error encountered." I can transfer little files without any trouble, but ISO images fail. Converting VMs from VMWare server also fails (I suspect for the same reason). This happens on both ESXi servers (I have tried it with two different clients as well, with no difference).
When I performed a packet trace, I saw quite a bit of network errors in the form of TCP retransmissions and duplicate acks. Looking at the Cisco switch, I see no Ethernet errors of any kind on either the client or the servers.
Any help in this regard would be appreciated!
