Day one - pretty non eventful. Joe Tucci and John Maritz had keynotes - for EMC virtualizaition of some kind is the key... The new V-Max Symmetrix is a work of art.

Day 2 - Attended the Scott Drummonds session on VMware Performance. I had attended this same session back in 2006. He did a great job and had all the new metrics from VSphere. Also attended the SRM session - didn't learn anything new here, mostly for new users to SRM. NO GOOD SWAG, but hey, the economy is still in the tanks so who can blame these vendors....

EMC World is EMC's (VMware's parent company) annual conference. This year it is in Orlando. It is predominantly EMC's suite of products including Documentum, storage including Symmetrix, Clarrion, Celerra, Centera, and yes VMware has some sessions as well.
