Active Directory group not working for entitlement

Hi, everyone,

I have set up a global group in Active Directory (Windows 2000 mixed mode) for the purpose of entitling users to access a desktop pool. Unfortunately, View doesn't seem able to use the group; it indicates that the users in the group are not entitled. If I add the users individually to the desktop pool, they are able to log in, and View Manager was able to resolve the group name.

Any thoughts?

Tom

- can you add the group normally at "Entitlements" of a desktop/pool ?

-have you tried to recreate the group, still the same?

-can you test the behavior, when you take another (existing for example) group?

...sorry, those are my only thoughts about, never had problems with that, and I created always specific global group for view entitlements,...

Apparently, this was a pebkac error (mine). I somehow added the group to View Manager but failed to entitle it in the pool, don't ask me how.

Hi.

I can't add entitliments to a desktop. It can't find any users or groups. Active directory is available.

should Connection Server also have AD role to add users?

any thoughts?

Hi I also have the problem that I can't entitle groups. Users on the other hand work fine... They are listed in the View Administrator and the Pool itself, the remote desktop rights in the parentVM is also granted for my group. It also doesn't matter which kind of group I create (universal, domain local or global).

What did I overlook?

Thanks for any help.

edit: Nevermind, stupid mistake by me... everything works fine. I entitled the users to the wrong group... :O :0
