weird windows behavor in ESXi

I have installed one Windows 2003 R2 and one Vista on the ESXi. What's so weird is that everytime after I log into the Windows guest system (either one of them), the guest OS periodically (like every one miniute) has zero CPU time (literally zero MHz) that the windows guest stopped to respond to any input for a minute. I mean zero indicted from the VI Client management interface. I have two other Linux system on the same server and they were all fine. This tells me that the ESXi is still running fine. As soon as I log out of the Windows, the guest OS returned to normal condition, which shows idle CPU usage (about 36MHz) and was responsive.

Anybody has seen this before? I have googled but haven't had any clue yet. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Just an update from my last post. I unintalled the vmware-tool and re-installed it and the problem went away. It seems to be an easy fix only I don't know what caused it. The only thing I can think that happened was the windows update may have contribution to it. Anyways, just an update in case it may help someone.
