XP file dronken and wont start

I've been using Vmware Fusion v2.0 for many months to run windows XP and today I noticed that when I look at the XP instance in the Virtual machine library in the vmware fusion client is says "error" and shows a big exclamation point in the icon. It won't let me even attempt to start it. When I look at the file in the Mac finder it also shows a big exclamation mark. Any hints for what might of happened or how to get my XP vm working again?

I didnt get any error with ver 2.0 so I installed 2.02. I did get a message about invalid syntax in one of the files so I deleted the liine. The vm still didnt start due to another error but it did let me get far enough that I could revert back to an earlier snapshot so I think I'm ok with that outcome.

Thanks

You can use the vmxRecover.pl script from vmxRecover.pl.zip and the vmware*.log file from within the target Virtual Machine's Package to create a new .vmx configuration file.
