I'm using VCB with EMC Networker 7.5, and it works fine as long as I only back up virtual machines. If I mix VCB backups with regular network backups, especially in a large save group, many of the VCB backups will not complete. Some of them spuriously report the mount points are already present on the proxy ("Mount point already exists"), while others simply appear to run indefinitely. I'm still trying to put together a complete profile of the failure, but I was curious if anyone has seen this problem before. I'm also wondering if there is, perhaps, some hardware limitation I'm hitting and if anyone has heard of a minimum or recommended hardware spec for a VCB proxy.
