SCSI\symmpi1 related errors on my VMs

Hi, I have been receiving the below error in some of my VMs hosted on different ESX servers.

Jan 22 17:37:23 <servername>.hyd.deshaw.com <servername>EvntSLog: Thu Jan 22 17:37:23 2009: <servername>/symmpi (9) - "The device, \Device\Scsi\symmpi1, did not respond within the timeout period."

My VMs are located on filers which are connected to my ESX hosts through ISCSI (using HBAs). I dont see any ISCSI errors on my ESX servers. Could you let me know what can be done to get rid of these errors?

Thanks

On effected VMs do the following:

Set the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/Disk Timeout value to 60

Also add two REG_DWORD values to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\symmpi\Parameters

DisableDisconnects=1(decimal)

MaximumSGList=255(decimal)

Then reboot

Check your filers for any indication of issues.
