2 Questions

Hello all,

First off, I am new to WMWare and still hunting through settings, but looking for help with these two things, since I have a deadline coming up on getting this done. I am looking to push this image on Tuesday.

I am setting up a computer to image for one of our computer labs.

Running leopard, using VMWare Fusion to run Windows XP

Here are my issues.

1) I have been looking around and I am wondering if there is a way to shut off the virtual machine library from opening up each time you start VMWare Fusion. I am setting one of our computer labs up and do not want the Elementary Students to be able to get in and accidentally change settings around on me.

2) I am trying to get VMWare Fusion to fully shutdown and close out when you shutdown the virtual machine.

Now, I might be looking for impossible, but I am hoping it is possible. Thanks in advance for the assistance with this.

If Fusion is starting a virtual machine (either from opening via the Finder or if a favorite is selected), the Virtual Machine Library will not be shown.

You might want to see - it's very advanced, but I think it deals well with how to prevent students from permanently altering things.

That's not expected behavior. The closes you can do is to set it so the virtual machine shuts down when you quit Fusion.

Thank you for your assistance,

As long as the library gets closed my boss is happy, since we will be running Deep Freeze, the kids can do whatever they want and a reboot will bring it back.
