Installing Dell OpenManage on ESX 3.5 update 3

According to this article:

A patch is needed to be installed before installing Dell OpenMange. The document refers to ESX 3.5 and not 3.5 update 3. So I am wondering if I still need to apply this patch before installing Dell OpenManage. We will be installing OpenMange v 5.5 on a PowerEdge 2950 III.

You do not need this patch if you are using Update 3. (You do not need this patch if you are using Update 1 or later). VMware typically roles up all the patches in the next update.
