Seriously.. is there something wrong with the eval key generator from VMware's website?

Can anyone please confirm that they can do the following:

() Sign up for a new VMware account

() Request an Eval of VMworkstation 6.5

() Confirm / Activate the email and keycode

() See the keycode online

and

() Use it for a 30 day trial of VMworkstation 6.5 ?

I have tried several times now... various computers, various email addresses, various 30 day eval keycodes, various versions of VM workstation... (6.0.2, 6.0.5, and 6.5)... it simply appears to be ... broken. No eval keys I download will work on any machine I am trying. All keycodes I get are rejected!

The error is: "No licenses matching serial number were found,"

Please advise.

I have a doubt...

You are downloading the vm workstation for windows and generating a free trial license code to it.

Then you install this vm workstation you just downloaded and try to use the respective license code.

Right?

I am asking this because some time ago I tried to evaluate vm workstation for linux, but I generated a free trial license code of windows vm workstation... and I got the same message as you.

Use it, and shall be master!

There is just no way I'm getting this wrong.
