Phantom VM template

I have a template VM on one of my ESX servers that has been greyed-out, as though the template's host has been disconnected. The only option available when right-clicking on the template is "Add Permission..." Since I am already a member of Administrators, the issue is clearly not one of permissions. Ordinarily, this would only be an inconvenience, but I'm trying to remove the datastore on which the template appears to reside. Is there a way to forcibly remove this template, e.g., from the command line?

Try restarting the agents on the host, or preferably, migrate everything off and reboot it.

service mgmt-vmware restart

service vmware-vpxa restart

--"Non Temetis Messor."
