Good morning,
Currently I am running ESX 3.0.2 with Virtual Center 2.5. I consistently notice that SQL will eat up all of the memory on this machine which is roughly 2 GB's. Is there any way to tune Virtual Center or SQL so that it doesn't eat up so much memory? When this happens the server comes to a crawl making it virtually useless. My only resolve so far has been to reboot the system.
Thanks
Tim
I'm sorry, VirtualCenter has high memory usage not a Virtual Machine.
Do you have VC database installed on the same server or it store on remote db server? Your VC server shouldn't be utilize that much memory if DB is stored elsewhere. Do you have any other services that spiking your resources?

My database is running on the same server unfortunately. The only other process that I notice using a lot of memory is vpxd.exe
That make sense if you run DB on the VC itself, it would be fine if small environment, but large suggest to have cluster SQL box else where for better performance.
