Problem with a hauppauge wintv-nova-t stick

Hi,

I have a windows xp host and a Ubuntu 8.04 guest.

I have vmware workstation 6.5 and Ubuntu detects the usb stick tv wihout problems.

Then I search the channels pefectly but when I select one of the channels vmware crashes and it generates a core file.

Could you help me? Thanks and sorry for my english!

Most likely the VMware video card does not support the DirectDraw features that the Hauppauge WinTV software requires.

Please attach the UI and VMX log files (the location of the UI log file is given in the About dialog; the VMX log is the vmware.log file in your VM's directory).
