Uploading to ESX from VirtualCenter

When trying to upload a folder of ISOs from my VirtualCenter server to a VMFS volume on a SAN attached to my ESX server I get the following error msg:-

"Unable to log into the NFC Server"

After following all the directions in this post http://communities.vmware.com/thread/125068

I have now encountered a different error relating to I/O - although I still do get the NFC error also..

Has anybody had any success in solving this issue or have any other solutions to try

What is the NFC server and why can I not log into it.!?

I would take a look at a tool like WinSCP - this will allow you to move files form your windows desktop to your ESX hosts -

Checked my FTP account and was then able to upload/download using both WinSCP and VCI

issue solved
