i can't install vmware tools in fedora 9

i installed vmware tools rpm ..

but.. it doesn't work.

then i Extracted and installed vmware tools-6.0.0-45731.tar.gz

but there was a problem

What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]

and i downloaded  (vmware-any-any-update117.tar.gz )

but.. i can't install  (vmware-any-any-update117.tar.gz )

I am so tired

if there anysone knwo about that,pls do let me know.
