Hello everyone.
We've finaly got around to upgrading our 3.5 environment to vsphere 4.1 Update 1.
Started off well. Installed a new 4.1 Virtual Centre Server and new 4.1 Update Manager.
We have moved one of our ESX 3.5 servers into this new environment.
I thought it would be as simple as attatching the baseline to get the server upgrading, but I'm not getting anywhere.
The server is currently esx 3.5.0 317866.
Have tried with the following files and configured "Import Upgrade Release"
upgrade-from-esxi3.5-to-4.1_update01.348481.zip
ESX-4.1.0-update01-348481.iso
The Upgrade release shows : partial
But when using the baseline to scan, it shows as non-compliant.
Any advice on how to get this upgrade done through Update Manager would be greatly appreciated
