    Creating Site Recovery Manager (SRM) Laptop Demo


    To successfully use this SRM laptop demo guide the following is assumed:

      • VMware Workstation 6.5

      • VMware ESX 3.0.2 U1 or 3.5 U1

      • VMware VirtualCenter 2.5 U1

      • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP 2

      • VMware Site Recovery Manager v1.0

      • VMware Site Recovery Manager Plug-In

      • LeftHand Network VSA for VMware ESX

      • LeftHand Network Centralized Management Console (CMC)


    Partners can also use other virtual storage such as NetApp simulator instead of LeftHand Network VSA.  The virtual storage used in this guide is only for illustration purposes.
