I have one workstation that cannot connect to the ESXi server (no vCenter in environment) and it produces this error:

 

vSphere Client could not connect to "IP address". An unknown connection error occurred. (The request failed because the remote server took too long to respond. (The operation has timed out))

 

I've already tried restarting the ESXi management agents to no avail. Restarting the whole ESXi servers seems to solve it but just temporarily until it happens again. Other workstations on the same network as the ESXi host management network can connect to it just fine.

 

VM's in the host are working just fine. In fact, from the same workstation that is experiencing the issue I can directly connect to that ESXi host using VMWare workstation and I can access the website of the ESXi host. Telnetting to the ESXi host using port 902 seems to connect just fine.

 

The viclient.log shows these:
