VMware Newsletter 5.09

Posted by nisserow Mar 26, 2013
From the editors Virtual Desk
Hi everyone, well it looks like I have found a winner with the new format. Apart from a few spelling mistakes caused by not thorough enough proof reading it seems as if the new format was received well so except for the occasional tweaks this will be the new format that we will work with.
I have been very busy with my customers focusing almost all of my energy on end user computing specifically View and Thinapp this week. It has been challenging for me as my knowledge of this space is definitely lacking and needs updating. I hope to rectify this with the DT cert sometime this year with as much practice as possible during that time so I am able to assist my customers on their journey to virtualise their desktops and apps.
Until next week enjoy the newsletter digest this week and click on the articles you are interested in to go to the full article.
Best Wishes
Jillian Rayner (Partner Business Manager) and Neil Isserow (Newsletter Editor)

Hi everyone, I hope you have been enjoying this years newsletter and the new hopefully simpler and better format. It has been a busy Newsweek and work week for me. I have tried to capture as much news as possible.

I am planning on taking a few exams this year and hope to be able to do the IAAS and Desktop exam before the end of the year. I try and keep my certifications current as I think it is very important for my customers to know that I am certified in the technologies I represent. What are your certification plans?

Hi everyone well another week and another change to the newsletter format. I am trying something new from this week. Rather than having links to the articles I will be presenting the articles formatted by blogger. I feel that they provide me with everything for this newsletter and in an effort to give them more credit I hope this will work out well. The new system is simple. Instead of the usual sections you will find the blogger is the section with a link to their blog. Then below this is a summary of the last blog posts of interest. It is as easy as clicking on the bloggers link to go there and read more and maybe discover other interesting blogs not published. This will also streamline the newsletter content. There are some sections that will remain however as you will notice.

What blogs do you follow? I am always looking for new blogs to add so please email me your suggestions for the newsletter.

I would love to hear what you think of the new newsletter format. Hopefully it will be well received.
