I like to use unity, but sometimes need to switch back. I have attempted to comb the forums for other posts and have not found similar reports - is this unique to me?

When I switch back my single window view is of a black screen. If I suspend, the suspend window fades from black to a real desktop! When I start back up I am again at a black screen. I cannot use the guest in this "black screen" mode. I believe only stopping and starting the guest gets me out of this problem state. The guest does appear to be running - when I stop it, I get the windows shutdown type sound...

Potentially related to the following known issue:

<quote>
On dual-monitor host systems, when you switch from Unity view to Full Screen view, virtual machines displayed on the secondary monitor do not have the correct screen resolution.

To work around this problem, switch to Single Window view, and then switch to Full Screen view.
