Hello.
In order to publish a low budget filer within our infrstructure we decided to install a windows 2003 Standard Server (R2) and to configure "NFS Server" which is part of "unix tools" whicht Microsoft created.
Connecting to the NFS share as an external NFS storage is not my problem, this works great. But when I want to lay there some files (e.g. copying from an internal storage to this NFS storage) it´s very awful because of the performance. All transactions to or from the NFS file system are very slow, I cannot start any vmware containers for example because getting timeouts.
The NFS Server is configured out of the box with simple user mapping. I only deactivated the permanent user authentification.
Has anyone any ideas???
Thanks a lot
Thomas
