That's great, but how do I download it? The download link leads to a site with a link which leads back to the vmware page.

At the TOP of that site the link takes you to is a Download menu option, which takes you to a download page for all of the items listed on that main page. The link you refer to states "For more info on this see (the VMware page)"

Hi Jonny,

I believe that I understand the confusion, if you do click on the "Download the Appliance" that page that you get redirected to does seem to have a clear way of downloading the Virtual Appliance

Here is the direct path this this Virtual Appliance

http://www.tdisecurity.com/iso/DAMP.zip

Is located on this page

Seems to be total lack of any documentation on this appliance. How can one configure it? Where is description at last?

What is the ip address of this Appliance? Or how can I find it?
(the same question goes for the NAMP Appliance posted by the same generous author)

yes a little bit of documentation would help.

Dragonfly Wiki
http://wiki.dragonflybsd.org/

Dragonfly Network config
http://leaf.dragonflybsd.org/~justin/handbook/config-network-setup.html

try this at prompt (dont type the #)
#cat /var/log/messages | grep lnc0

You should see entries against device lnc0 (ethernet) dated November.
This shows the device worked for the VM guest maintainer.

If you go through all /var/log/messages and look for dhclient you will see it is the app that picks up your DHCP address.

Now at prompt type (dont type the #)
#dhclient

You should now have an IP address against device lnc0 ;-)

If you want to install additional software, simply ensure that the network interface is up and run the command "pkg_add PKG_NAME" as root. The package manager will go out and fetch the software plus any other dependencies that the package has. For instance, the command "pkg_add lynx" will install the Lynx text browser and all of its dependencies.

Thanks for the info.
I saw the apache screen and the phpmyadmin page and then I tried to Setup A TFTPServer using:http://wiki.dragonflybsd.org/index.cgi/CategoryHowTo. It didnt work, it seems that TFTPServer is not included in this machine.
I tried to install WEBMIN but is not in the repositiry of the package manager.
Unless you are a Terminal wizard, you can't use this v m without some sort of interface.

I appreciate it has been a while, but other users might also not have found the username and password:

root

And if anyone else has documentation links, please provide them.
