I've searched the forums and can't seem to find the answer to this, so here goes:
I am running VMWare Workstation 1.0.1, and am using it to run the Ubuntu 6.06 Server Edition VMWare applianace that I downloaded from vmware.com.
I can't seem to get the guest OS to work with the network. When I ping an IP address, I get "Network is unreachable". I tried running it with ethernet set in both, in bridged and NAT mode. Same result in both cases.
I have included the output of ipconfig/ifconfig below. Can anyone steer me towards what I need to looking into to make this work?
Any insight into this problem would be much appreciated.
