I wasn't sure at first glance, then I went to MySpace and ALL that annoying crap just wasn't there! Man, I never thought about how fast the Internet can be without all the annoying advertisements and popups. This rocks!!!

Yes, it should run on Linux.
And yes, it will work FOR linux.

Sorry for not having any documentation on how to do that.
I'll try and get that done over the weekend.

We are also working out the bugs for supporting OS X and PocketPCs VPN connections.

Is it possible for several machines a network to use one Janus VM or do separate instances of Janus VM need to be run on each machine?

Good question.

Lets say Alice installed and is running JanusVM on her PC (192.168.0.100).
Bob would have to type "\\192.168.0.100\Setup\Run.BAT" in his Run prompt to install the VPN to Alice's JanusVM instance.

THE ONLY THING BOB HAS TO CHANGE IS THE LOGIN NAME ON THE VPN CONNECTION. (This is why we left it there)
By default, the name is "guest". Just use guest2, guest3, ... guest9.
If you want to add more logins, edit the /etc/ppp/chap-secrets file in JanusVM.

Enjoy.

We were able to keep track (for the most part) of our project by placing an embeded IFRAME in the Applications section of the project page. This IFRAME also offered users a direct download link instead of being forced to use a torrent.

I was very, very happy to see many of our users ( 86% ) using the Online documentation WITH PICTURES. I, personally, feel that documentation greatly helped our project during this challenge.

First of all, I LOVE THIS APPLIANCE!!! I have a few questions.

1. Is there anyway to increase the number of users allowed? I only want to do private connections, no anonymous.
2. Is there anyway to have more that one JanusVM connection on a pc? I want to use it at home and at work.

thanks,
Phil

I would like to use a low powered PC as a dedicated Janus server. As the machine will not really powerfull enough to run vmware/player/server and there are no other server side virtual machines that I wish to run I was woundering wheather it would be possible to run JanusVM directly on physical hardware? Would this work? Are there any reasons not to do this?

Do we have a moderator that can help on this appliance? I need to know if there is a way to expand the capability of this appliance.

I put together this appliance, so I would be the one to help you with it.

I just got back from Defcon and am relaxing for another day, but then I will be addressing several questions and concerns in the next few days.

Thank you for your patience.
