I installed the appliance and started it but seems that the network configuration forces you to have the 192.168.0.x network.

Upon loading it stops wheb trying to run ntpdate

Anyone knows how to update the network before loading?

How do you change the passwords so that you don't have the published generic ispconfig password to protect all the apps?

Thanks

edit the file /etc/networks/interfaces and change the ip for the eth0, you must edit the file with root privileges. save and reboot.

Hello,

i have set up the appliance and have two little problems :)
First there some configurations whith the initial setup 192.168.0.100 for instance when you got to tools in the ispconfig webinterface and whant show the statistics and the phpmyadmin interface. where can i change this to the current ip or dns name. The second is the time when 15 real minutes elapsed in the vm only 10.

Mine gets stuck on "Running ntpdate to synchronize clock". I can hit CTRL-C to cancel that, or let it sit for a minute and it will then continue on.

It then gets stuck on "Starting munin-node".

What a nice thing this is. So much fine software, installed, configured and ready to use.
I have built a similar system, using CentOS and know how much work is required.
My hat is off to the builder(s), and to vmware, for making this possible. Thank you all.
