Shame the link is down.

In addition is the disk a SCSI disk that can be used on an ESX or an IDE ?

Looks like something I would like to run - but is anyone working on bad links? It looks like this VM has been a bad link for over awhile? I get the same error message that was listed a month ago. Please fix the link, or else give an alternate site for an ISO. Thanks

I was also looking for this. This is exactly what I want to play with inside VMWare so that I can adjust the settings on my real Snort engines. Anyone know how to make an image of a live system that can be run under VMWare?

Great appliance, downloaded completely and fully running. I just have a quick question regarding the dmz nic. I configured a port on my cisco switch to port monitor my wan port, and I plugged it into the nic that doesn't have ip configuration, and I also have the management nic on my lan which I can access base on, however the only sensor I can look at is the management nic and not the other dmz nic.

Nevermind, I figured it out. In case anyone else experiences this, what you have to do is go into /etc/init.d and edit the snort file. Under Interface="-i eth0" change it to eth1.
