experimental custom reports feature

has anybody found a description how the custom reports feature works?

the detailed KB article is not yet available

but in general it works like this:

- user creates an XML file describing the report. File is copied to UI_VM.

- report definition have to be imported into vcops by running "/usr/lib/vmware-vcops/user/conf/install/vcops-viewsreports.sh" script

- upon browser refresh, the new report should be available for execution

a detailed KB article should be published on the subject very soon.

You can take a look at /usr/lib/vmware-vcops/user/conf/xmlviews/*.xml files for sample XML files containeng views and reports.

This is located on UI VM of the VCOps vApp.

Is there any way to export the existing reports to XML?  I would like to just adjust what they already have instead of creating them from scratch.
