Unable to detect on-board SATA Controller (Intel B75 Chipset) Gigabyte P75-D3

Third host in our company's cloud .. Gigabyte Ga-P75-D3 with  Intel B75 Express Chipset (12 GB RAM, Core I5 2400)

Motherboard info here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4152#sp

Chipset Info Here: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/chipsets/business-chipsets/b75-express-chipset.html

Vsphere 5.0 Installed and detected LAN correctly (Pre-Installed to USB Flash Drive).  But Vspere client (and vcenter) does not detect any storage controllers and consequently any storage devices. The Passthru configuration sees an unknown IDE controller ( 2 of them actually).

My questions (I have done my homework searching for a while to find answers to those questions without any success):

1. Is the b75 chipset supported, or is there any known way to get  vsphere 5.0  to recognize it?

2. Where can I find a compatibility list for Intel onboard chipsets ?

3. If none exist did anyone have any luck with the intel H77/Z77/H61 chipsets? (other mother boards available from the store where I bought the MoBo with those chipsets, but I have till tomorrow to replace it).

Thanks in advance.

Ok I solved it.

The new Intel Chipsets are apparently supported in the new update 1 for vsphere 5.0

Use update manager to update host to vsphere 5.0 update 1 and the controller was recognized.

Hope that helps someone
