[Fedora 15 x64] Failed to compile module vmmon!

Hi all,
I have some problems when i try install vmware player

When i looking for solution in this forum, I found some posts about older kernel, the solution is install some patch for vm, where i can find patch for my kernel?
I don't see it on vmware web.

I've got the same problem.

Installed VMware-Player-3.1.4-385536.x86_64.bundle outright then tried to run it. Ended up needing some dependencies. Looked around and came up with:

yum install kernel-devel kernel-headers gcc

Then I tried to the VMware Kernel Module Updater which failed. My log is pretty much the same and is attached.

uname -a: Linux fedora 2.6.40.3-0.fc15.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Aug 16 04:10:59 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Figured it out!

1) Download the file.

2) Run these commands.

tar xvf vmware2.6.39patchv3.tar.bz2
yum install patch
./patch-modules_2.6.39.sh

Will try creating a VM now. Enjoy!
