ESXi Stops at Boot menu on UCS B200

Just taken delivery of a cisco UCS with 4 B200 blades. All fine untill we attempted the install of ESXi. On booting it gets as far as the "VMware VMvisor Boot Menu" and goes no further, it is compleatly hung.

The blades are fitted with 2x X5690's and 6x8GB ram. I have tried both the cisco custom build and 4.1.0 U1, same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just had conformation from Cisco that the latest Broadcom mezzanine card are not supported in VMware, Cisco are popping up with some older ones so we can get going, add in the drivers and reinstall the new cards.

Grr. chop chop vmware!

Turns out it was actualy the firmware on the UCS controler and blades were not compatible causing the KVM to freeze at that point. A local keyboard and monitor proved that vmware was actualy working perfectly!
