Jodi announced a new contest we're running for the Omaha VMUG members. It's to encourage a growth in our local virtualization community, and I hope you'll take the time to participate because I believe it'll benefit you in the end.
Check out the details here and spread the word to the other VMUG members you know.
Well, we're just short of one month from when we first announced this contest. There's been several people that have signed up for Twitter, but I don't see many conversations going on.
To help everyone get over the hump of understanding the value and getting involved, I'd like to do some lunch and learns and/or cocktail hours. These can be both learning and social events. Just to be 100% clear, I'm not offering to buy you lunch (this is completely outside my role at Vital and I have no expense reports in my role as an individual), but my intention is to get you positioned to get a free book.
Let's plan on two dates for now: April 29th at 11:30a for a lunch & learn and May 3rd at 4:30p for training over a cocktail. If these dates/times don't work for you, I'm as flexible as my crazy schedule will allow, so feel free to make other suggestions (either here or directly to me).
Let me know as soon as possible if you'd like to participate so I can block off my time and find a location.
