Adaptec CIM providers in ESXi 4.1?

are there any news about Adaptec CIM providers in ESXi 4.1?

I wondered the same so I popped a question off to Adaptec Support about it, especially in light of ESX's EOL and I got this

"Regarding the below issue,we still have the plan to offer a management software and/or CIM support but there is no date yet as to when this will be available."

A very nice non-answer. I suppose they have to come up with something if they don't want everyone jumping ship when ESXi is the only option, but its not like they haven't had ample warning...

I have also been in contact with Adaptec regarding this and here are their answer:

"We are not normally told when new product development is scheduled; but the Adaptec ESXi support will be coming before VMware stops their support for ESX."

My last conversation with an Adaptec manager was that we should expect to see a CIM released sometime in Q1 - 2011

That is a little longer than I would prefer.

Do you have any update in this subject. 3-rd quater is coming and no news about support for Adaptec. Do they wait for vsphere 5?
