Hi all,
I am happy to announce that beginning today, February 11th, Workstation 7 licenses will begin to go out to all new VCP3s, VCP4s, and those of you who upgraded to VCP4s. If you received a letter (and if you haven't received your kit yet, you will) stating we will be sending you the key, you will now be receiving it!
As for the new VCP Logo, it has been posted to the VCP section of the website. You can download and use the logo on all of your materials.
Apologies to everyone for the delays, and congratulations once again on your achievement!

Great news, can finally order my business cards. I'm getting a 404 error trying to download the logos from http://www.vmware.com/services/vcp/ where should I be getting them from?
Hi Jon,
I went to www.vmware.com/certification clicked on the VCP Login. Normally you get prompted for a username and password. I did not recieve any challenge for authentication. I couldnt download the logos. I get redirected to a VMware "customised" Page not found. I can download the agreement and logo guidelines on the same page.
Jeff,
I just got there with no issue. My recommendation would be to log out or start a new session to see if you can login again, then see if you can get there OK. Or you can start back at the Certification page, click the VCP Login link and log in (if you don't get to log in, this is where a new session might help)

Usually you don't get prompted if the system remembers you. So try starting a new session or maybe clearing your cookies, then try to log in again. The logos are definitely there, just checked to be sure it was working.

Cleared all temp files and cookies, had the same problem. Doesn't ask me to login and errords on logo link.
Tried different computer and it worked. Whatever, I got my logo :).
All,
One way around this issue might be to use the link below:
http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/services/vcp_logos.zip
Note to others on the community: You will still have to login as a VCP to access this link.

Hey Jon, just a quick FYI. I clicked on the link to download the logo's and I was not prompted to log into the site. I am also not a VCP as of yet.
Cheers
Kevin
It would be nice to know when the last licenses get sent out for December VCPs, just in case a spam filter gets overzealous.
Thanks!
Jon
I notice your not offering a "blue" version like before
any reason? I liked the blue version of the logo.

Got mine today too! Thanks!
VCP3, VCP4, CCNA, MCSE, Security+
Not sure if this is going to help, but here is my new daily update:
It's Wednesday February 17th, 2010 and I still haven't received my Key.
VCP3 -- August 20, 2009 (Certificate received, No Workstation license Key. I was told I would get Workstation 7 for this one in an e-mail sent to me by Tina Samaniego on December 15, 2009)
VCP4 -- January 19, 2010 (Understandably no Certificate or Key yet on this one)
I have 3 more days on my eval license.
Thanks for any help you can give me on this,
Scott Bonner
