Help please !!!
I'm dealing with enable VT-x in my ESXi U1 box.
I've enabled the VT-X mode in BIOS and my CPU is a Intel Core 2 QUAD Q9550.
But booting a VM with the CPU Compatibility Tool (cf. cpuid.iso) the output report :
Supports 64-bit Longmode : Yes
Supports 64-bit VMware : No
What's wrong ?
We do not virtualize VT-x, so a VM will always report "Supports 64-bit VMware: No." If you want to know if your host supports 64-bit VMs, you need to boot the physical machine from a CD that you've burned from that ISO.
