Enabling Intel VT-Mode in BIOS

Hi!

Is it possible to enable Intel VT-Mode after that i installed ESX on the server.

Or will the esx host dont boot up?

May there be other problem?

Help please !!!

I'm dealing with enable VT-x in my ESXi U1 box.

I've enabled the VT-X mode in BIOS and my CPU is a Intel Core 2 QUAD Q9550.

But booting a VM with the CPU Compatibility Tool (cf. cpuid.iso) the output report :

Supports 64-bit Longmode : Yes

Supports 64-bit VMware : No

What's wrong ?

We do not virtualize VT-x, so a VM will always report "Supports 64-bit VMware: No." If you want to know if your host supports 64-bit VMs, you need to boot the physical machine from a CD that you've burned from that ISO.
