Mouse Problem in VMWARE Workstation 7 (Quest OS:Win XP) in Windows 7 x64

Hi guys, I have a very weird problem with the mouse in workstation 7 and windows 7 x64. I cannnot control the mouse in the Guest OS of Windows XP, tried to unistall the Vmware tools and it works untill reboot and the problem revets back again. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have same problems here. My OS is windows 7 x64, and the vmware session was xp with 6.5 tools. After installing 7 tools it still doesn't work. It seems the calculation of coordinates is not correct !

Found the problem.

Just turn the 125% setting back to 100% in Windows 7 and the mouse cursor works correctly.

"Make it easier to read what's on your screen"...... what is easier...

and

"Make text and other items larger or smaller"

VMWARE BUG !

We're aware of this issue with non-standard DPI settings. We don't have a workaround right now.
