Hi,

I am new to vmware. I started building a Virtual Appliance using VM Studio. It requires an ISO image of the OS to be accessible from the VM Studio virtual appliance.

To get this ISO uploaded, I used vSphere Client and browsed the 'datastore' and uploaded the ISO to a directory under the 'VM Studio' datastore. Now, how is this directory accessed from within the Ubuntu console? What is the URL path for this ISO file?

Thanks.

You need to add a virtual CD-ROM to the guest and point that to the .iso file.

To access the ISO from your Guest you will need to edit the settings of your guest to point the CD-ROM device to the ISO. to do this right click the guest and select Edit Settings. assuming the vStudio is on ESX the path will be something like /datastore_name/vStudio/path to ISO
