I followed the steps mentioned in the links provided and installed ESX 3.5 server in VMware workstation. It takes long time to boot after installation. After long time, it boots to the screen where it says " To manage esx server console use browser" or Press Alt F1.

At this poing the server is pinging from other VM, but not able to manage the server through IE, its says page cannot be displayed nor able to telnet or nor able to connect using putty.

Also, when i press Alt F1, it does not take me to the console screen, it just sits at process /var/.......

Please help me how to manage the ESX server from this point and how to go to esx console.
