This is my first time posting. I am new to Mac and not a techie so please bear with me .I have an iMac 27 inch just purchased in Aug., I have the new Leopard update but have not installed it yet. I use Vista Home Premium to open my Bernina Artista Designer Plus V5 embroidery/digitizing software. This is the only thing I use on my VM side. Today when I opened my VM Fusion, Windows asked for my password, each time I tried to give it , it rejected it say it was not a valid user name or password. I have tried everything and it doesn't allow me in. It gives me the option of resetting my password but says that in order for me to do this I would have had to set it up to allow this. I don't remembering doing anything like that when I installed the Vista. Also I would note that typically when I closed my Bernina software in the past Fusion would suspend the operation and upon reopening I would automatically be returned to my open Bernina program. During a reboot attempt earlier, when I opened VM Fusion a black windows screen came up that said Windows had failed to properly shut down and I just let it reopen naturally. Last Sunday I finally installed the wireless HP C4580 printer that came with my iMac. I have used my Bernian software since that time so I find it hard to believe that there could be a connection. Does anyone out there have a clue as to what my problem might be? Any suggestions most gratefully received. I will appreciate any help you have to offer.....hope I can find my way around this forum to hopefully find any replies......

techie challenged,
Michelle
