I have configured the servers with the necessary tools. I have written a batch file with call to the cmd and all the necessary switches. When you run the batch file it executes the dns_update command. As you watch it the syntax reports that the A record is deleted and then added and the command completes successfully. However, when you go check the forward lookup zone in DNS the old A record remains while the new a record has been added as well as the reverse lookup. Not sure why it tells me the old record has been deleted when it hasn't. Has anyone seen this issue?
