I know that with windows 2003 you have to go through some hoops to get a 2 x cpu to 1 x cpu. I wanted to know with Windows 2008 if the same issue exists or can you easily go from 2 cpu to 1 cpu without issue.
Thank you for confirming.... I wasnt sure, so that is why i asked. I also just tested this and it does indeed work very well both up and down in cpu count.
