Does the virtual machine mac address change with an upgrade of VMware tools and virtual hardware within a Windows Server 2003 environment?
I am upgrading from version ESX Server 3.0.1 to version vSphere 4 and NEED to keep the MAC address of one of my Virtual Machines for licensing purposes.
I have had a look at this article however do not want to reserver MAC addresses manually if they will not change with the upgrade.

Any advice or experience of wanting to do similar would be appreciated.
