hi guys

Software
View 3.1.2
Vmware View 3.1.2
View Agent 3.1.2

I created an individual Desktop.
VM Windows XP SP3, I enabled Remote Desktop (RDP) and added domain users as the group to have access to
that VM.

Now I use the acount test which is part of Domain Users.

I open Vmware View Client I get the WinXP that is entitled to Domain Users but when I click connect
I get this error

Error when using Vmware View Client 3.1.2

""This Desktop is currently not available. Please try connecting to this desktop again later, or contact your system admin""

is that related with permissions?

chekc attachment

thanks a lot

Make sure the Windows firewall is really disabled. Enabled it, start it, stop it and then disable it again.

The View Agent will start the firewall service (even if it has been disabled) to add a firewall rule for RDP. The above sequence should make sure it's really stopped.

Groups are definitely the best way to go!

And you don't have to use linked clones for groups. Just make sure
that the group is added to the template you are deploying full
desktops from.
