Hello all,

it seems that VDR inverts my settings for the backup timeslot. I'm using the default values (backup at night) , however, VDR starts the backup during the day. The time (and timezone) is set correctly.

Anyone else with the same problem?

Regards,
Andreas

Yes, I have had the same problem, but I don't use this product any longer until the next release is available. There are too many bugs in it. You can not rely on this backup-solution.

First, do the backup jobs running within backup time frame? If yes, I would consider this as acceptable.

Second, currently only max 8x VMs can be backup concurrently. The rest, VDR should backup within the same or subsequent backup windows.

Have you ever used the "Bring to compliance" button? With using this option, the backup window will be ignored until all the VM's are backuped. (in compliance).

But I can remeber, the same behavior in my environment. The selected times were inverted. Backups's stop at the beginning of the backup time frame. I than used 24 hours timeframe for backups, because the backup itself dosn't make a very high load with Version 7 HW, so it was no problem backuping up during the day. When you start the job at night for the first time, it will be backuing up at night for the following days.
