Hello all.
I did a fresh win 2008 installation under ESXi 4, and I'm experiencing random freezes of the VM. Even powering off the machine doesn't work properly, since the VM does not power off properly. I have to reboot ESXi.
No VMware tools installed (there was a similar issue with the tools video card).

Any help/hint?

You don't provide much information 2008 version 64 / 32 / R2, anything about your platform, etc. I would do a quick search of the forums. There are other references to 2008.

Hi Solari,

Actually you don't need to restart your ESXi host, all you need to do is go to SSH console and then performs type Services.sh restart command to restart the agent.

Try to install VMWare tools without the SVGA driver an see how it goes.

Kind Regards,
