Hello all.

In the VSphere client I noticed the following for my running VMs (see below). It seems that a console connection is opened every 20 seconds. This happens for all running VMS as long as a user have the console active in his/her browser. Is this normal or should I spend some time to look into it?

03.11.2009 12:17:59 Administrator Remote console has been opened for this virtual machine on esx.xxx.local info
03.11.2009 12:17:58 Administrator Remote console has been opened for this virtual machine on esx.xxx.local info

03.11.2009 12:17:38 Administrator Remote console has been opened for this virtual machine on esx.xxx.local info
03.11.2009 12:17:37 Administrator Remote console has been opened for this virtual machine on esx.xxx.local info

For the record, this is pasted from VSphere client -> <running config> -> Tasks & Events tab

I believe this is normal. My event log shows the same thing for each console that is opened and it is about every 20 seconds. I attached a screenshot.

You are welcome. It doesn't seem like a lot of people are using LM 4 yet. (At least the issues I am having aren't anywhere on the support forums, where it directly applies to LM4) I am happy to add any info I can add to the collective... We have a fairly large implementation that I am swimming in daily if you have other questions like this.

Have a good one!
